Teamup calendars can be accessed in any browser, and on mobile devices through the Teamup app (iOS, Android) or a mobile browser.

Using sub-calendars

Sub-calendars are the individual calendars within a master calendar. A master calendar always has at least one sub-calendar and can have many more. You’ll see a list of the sub-calendars you can access in the calendar sidebar.

  • Browser: Click the double arrow (top left) to open or close the sidebar, which contains the date picker, Calendar list, filters, and About box.
  • Teamup app: Tap the menu icon (top left) or swipe from the left to open the left sidebar, which contains the calendar info, views, app settings, and the Calendars list.

ℹ️ Master Calendars and Sub-Calendars

Toggle sub-calendars

You can toggle sub-calendar visibility to show or hide their events. Sub-calendars that are toggled “off” have white lines on their title bar, so you can see at a glance which sub-calendars hidden and which are currently shown.

  • Click or tap a sub-calendar title bar to toggle between showing and hiding that sub-calendar.
  • Click or tap the Eye icon to show only that sub-calendar.
  • The same actions work on folders to toggle visibility of all sub-calendars in a folder.

ℹ️ Show or Hide Calendars

Filter for sub-calendars

On a Teamup calendar with many sub-calendars, there is a filter above the Calendars list. Enter a keyword or part of a calendar name to quickly find it. You can use this function for multiple calendars, too.

Calendar views

A calendar view is the layout for your calendar. Different calendar views enable you to choose how you see calendar data.

  • Browser: Teamup’s web client has 12 different calendar views. Use the view picker (top right) to switch the calendar view.
  • Teamup app: On the Teamup app, 5 calendar views are available: list, day, week, month, and Tiles. To switch views, swipe or tap to open the left sidebar. Tap the view you want to use.

Working with events

Create events

On both a browser and the Teamup app: Tap anywhere in the time grid or tap the green + sign to create a new event. Adjust the event details as needed, then click the Save button.
