How to Share Events on the Teamup App

You can share events on a browser and on the Teamup app (iOS, Android). To take advantage of the event sharing options, make sure that your mobile app is updated to the latest version.

How to share an event

Two mobile screens show the Teamup app. An event is open with a red arrow pointing to the three dot menu in the top left and the Share option on the pop-up menu. The next screen shows the Share menu.

Open your Teamup calendar in the app as usual, then tap any event to view event details:

  1. Tap the ••• menu in the top right.
  2. Tap Share and choose the option you want from the Share menu.
  3. OR tap Open page to to generate a stand-alone event page, which you can share.

  • Share menu
    • Another calendar: Send an event to another calendar such as Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCal.
    • Another app: Share an event link through other installed apps such as Message, Instagram, WeChat, or Slack.

Note that the calendar administrator can configure which sharing options are available.

The event details will automatically populate in your other calendar. You can adjust the details or add more information before saving the event to your calendar.

This can be a helpful event sharing option if you use Teamup Calendar for one area (such as work) and use another calendar service for a different area (for example, using Google Calendar for your personal scheduling).
