What are folders?
Folders are a way to group sub-calendars and to create an organizational hierarchy for them. Folder organization makes it easier to find the sub-calendars you are looking for, or to work with only a group of sub-calendars. Folders have a gray color bar to set them apart from the color-coded sub-calendars.

How to add folders
Folders are created by adding the folder name in front of the sub-calendar name:
- Folder 1 > Blue calendar
- Folder 1 > Red calendar
- Folder 2 > Orange calendar
- Folder 2 > Pink calendar
Folders can be nested by using additional folder names and brackets:
- Parent Folder > Child Folder > Calendar
When you add new sub-calendars, you can organize them in folders. You can also organize existing sub-calendars in folders; doing so will not remove calendar data or change any events.
Folders do not count towards the total number of sub-calendars unless the folders are also active sub-calendars. If you create a sub-calendar with the same name as a folder, e.g. Folder 1, then the folder will also be an active sub-calendar.
