Please note that you can access your calendar with this app while offline. You will see the data that was synced the last time when you were online.

Getting started: Have your calendar link ready.

If you don’t have a Teamup Calendar yet, create a free one at www.teamup.com. You will receive a calendar administrator link, which is all you need to access and manage your calendar. Go to Settings and make it work best for you or your group. Create calendar links in Settings > Sharing for your group members and share the links with the respective users.  Check out the Getting Started Guide.

If you have received a calendar link from a calendar administrator or another user, this link is all you need to access the calendar on your iOS devices.

Entering your calendar link to your Teamup iOS app

Your calendar link contains a key that starts with ks followed by a 16-digit random string. Here is an example:
Full URL: https://teamup.com/ks09175eafc7c69bf8
Calendar key: ks09175eafc7c69bf8

The “Add Calendar” screen will appear the first time you use Teamup App. You can enter the calendar key manually or copy & paste a calendar key from your browser address bar, email, or another app on your device.

Tapping the example will add the demo calendar to your Teamup app.  The demo calendar has the read-only access permission, so you can feel free to click around.

Tap the + sign to add a new event.  Tapping on any existing event will open the event in the event viewer.  If you have the modifier permission, tap Edit.  You can modify the basic fields including the text in the details area.

An existing recurring event can be edited but you can not change the recurring pattern, which needs to be done on the web version.

The Calendar Link Dashboard

If you use use multiple calendar links, the Teamup iOS app makes it easy for you to manage and access all of them in one convenient place.  This is a unique capability of the iOS app that is not available on the Web version of Teamup Calendar.  You can access the calendar dashboard by tapping the calendar icon as shown below:

Two of the things asked often by Teamup users but not supported with the current version of the app are access to the grid views (month/week/day views), and the ability to create recurring events. To overcome these limits, it is recommended to open the calendar in Safari to use these features.  Click the 3 dots. One of the options is to open the link in Safari:

Offline Access

You can access your Teamup Calendar while offline.  What you see will be the state of the last time your app synced with the calendar server when you were online.  This can be helpful if you need to access your calendar but are not connected to the Internet temporarily.  Any changes made to the calendar during the time the calendar is not connected will be saved locally and synced to the server once the connection is back.
